What have you discovered that no one else knows?

We have such brilliant souls in this forum, each of us has probably discovered a few things that you know that no one else on the planet knows...and it would be of great benefit to know it....what is it?

If someone knows it , comment and then it doesn't count...the goal is for each of us to share something that no one can say they knew...

This is an interesting challenge.. as I think Captain Sweep is right - and each one of us is unique and has something special to add to the mix...

I don't think you can say that you have nothing to add..

As this is like the famous statement made by the US patent office "we might as well close our doors, as everything that could be invented and patented, already has been patented".

In hindsight, this statement is utterly ridiculous ... but at the time I think the person honestly believed there was nothing more to add.

If we don't think about it properly, the easy way out is to say to ourselves there is nothing new to add...

We need to take the same perspective... we are all individuls... what can we add that is new and unique from us... that noone else currently knows. This is how progress is made.... and it requires some reflection.

Upon Reflection....

Discovery 1 - (Reflection itself has messages for us)

At certain times when I lie down and look into the air above me... where the sun is shining down... I see reflections from what appear to be strings / particles dancing around ..with such speed and elegance... it is absolutely fascinating...mezmorising...

I see the same sort of thing when I see the reflections across water - the glimmering of light reflecting from the water...is again like a dance... with exactly the same speed and elegance as above.

In these observations there is a pattern repeating itself... the discovery is the pattern... the dance (recognisable to the naked eye) that repeats itself whenever sunlight and moving matter (be it particles or water) meet.. and the experience you get when you focus on this.

Try it for yourself, start with sunlight on water and tell me what you notice....try and focus on one point... and the glimering... what do you see ? what do you experience ?

The more quantum physicists learn about the smallest components our our world... is seems the less they can explain through the existing paradigms.

The problem is that when you go into a science lab.... whilst you gain the advantage of microscopes and a controlled environment, you also loose the perspective of the real world, nature and the human experience.

Only recently Scientists have developed a "String Theory" .... and also found an anomoly where one particle
appears to be in two places at once.

I admit that knowledge of these newly conceived theories, influence my perspective when I am looking at the world around me... and perhaps my RAS (recticular activating system) is tuned to finding strings dancing around...seeing two particles in one place... as I am aware of the theory...

What amazes me is what can be picked up with the naked eye... appears to match in most respects the latest theories, yet it has taken decades to get to this point of thinking through years of laboratory research...

Great post...but are you saying that you see patterns in such things as the sun dancing off water...I have often looked at the same phenomena and looked ofr patterns....what would be unique about what you see or what you discovered...?

I'm going to argue that we can't know something that someone else doesn't know. We are all born knowing everything, so, you may as well say that there is nothing new under the sun. Deep down somewhere in our selves, we know that ultimate truth that has a million names, love, God, Tao, Brahman, whatever you want to call it! We all know it somewhere deep down, and if you know that, than you know everything.

I discovered a simple way to grow a very large group of brilliant souls who care about mother earth.
The Power of Multiplication is something many people know. Illegal pyramid schemes use it to make huge sums of money for a few people at the top wile those thousands near the bottom lose out when the scheme collapses.
